Wat is Go fo Africa?/ What is Go For Africa?
- Go for Africa werkt samen met diverse scholen in Gambia, Senegal en Mauritanië en biedt tevens ondersteuning aan plattelands ziekenhuisjes en hiv/aids en malaria preventie projecten. Containergoederen zoals gereedschappen, machines, computers, meetapparatuur, ziekenhuisgoederen, EHBO materiaal en kindercrèche spullen worden daar door de GFA teams geïnstalleerd. De ROC leerlingen blijven voor dit doel 7 weken stagelopen onder deskundige begeleiding. Met medewerking van de Innovam en Tim-Loto wordt het ook mogelijk om aan modern technisch onderwijs toe te komen in de stageperiode. Veel teams nemen in hun auto´s ook nog goederen mee die daar op de scholen terechtkomen.
- - Go for Africa works together with several schools in Gambia, Senegal and Mauritania and also supports hospitals in the countryside and HIV/aids and malaria prevention projects. Containergoods like tools, machines, computers, meassure equipment, hospitalsupplies, first aid supplies and childcare goods will be installed by Go For Africa teams. the ROC students stay in Africa for seven weeks as internship with guidance of the experts. With co-operation of Innovam and Tim-Loto it is also possible to study modern technical issues during this “internship” period. Most of the teams also take goods with them in their car that will be handed out on the schools.

Ons doel is om via onze manier ons steentje bij te dragen aan de technische ontwikkeling van 3e wereldlanden. Wij proberen zoveel mogelijk dingen over te brengen zodat ze zichzelf verder kunnen ontwikkelen in deze richting. Aan het einde van de rit willen wij bereikt hebben dat iedereen wat heeft geleerd van ons bezoek en dat ze zelf een toekomst kunnen creëren.

- Our cause is to help with the technical development of Third World countries. We try to learn them as many things as we can, so they can develop themselves further in this direction. In the end we want to reach that everyone has learned something of our visit and they are able to create a future for themselves.
